Community Affairs promotes and enhances collaborative decision making between the Department and the communities we serve regarding policing services. Community Affairs is responsible for formulating projects to meet special needs within each community and developing and maintaining programs advantageous to the community. Community Affairs cooperates with and assists precinct commands with respect to matters of community concern at the local level.
