INCIDENT: Burglary                                                                  DATE/TIME:  May 4, 2014, 0313

The First Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred at 3:13am in Uniondale on May 4, 2014.

According to Detectives, the administrative building of the Town of Hempstead Greenfield Cemetery located at 650 Nassau Road, emitted three separate alarms alerting Public Safety Officers to respond. A Public Safety Lieutenant encountered an unknown male subject inside a T.O.H. 2011 Chevy Van, the subject exited the van and fled the cemetery on foot. Upon Police arrival the investigation revealed that the building had three broken windows, three T.O.H. busses were opened and fire extinguishers were removed but recovered on the grounds. Additionally, a T.O.H. 2009 Ford was stolen from its parking spot and found crashed into a south interior fence of the cemetery.

The male subject is described as possibly Hispanic or black, approximately fifteen years old, 5’8”, wearing a red hoodie style sweatshirt, tan pants and white sneakers.
