Online Pistol License Renewal

Please note that the Nassau County Police Department can only accept online renewal applications for pistol licenses that expire May, 2014 or later.

To renew your pistol license using the NCPD online system, you will need:

The Pistol License Renewal Letter that you received in the mail

A MasterCard, Visa or Discover credit card

      A valid email address

You will also need to supply a digital passport type photo which can be uploaded from your computer or tablet device OR you can use a mobile phone camera that can be used to email a photo. If you cannot supply a photo at this time, you can still renew your license online but you will need to either supply a photo at a later date, or alternatively, you can appear in person to have your photo taken at Nassau County Police Department Headquarters in Mineola.

When you are ready to begin the renewal process, click on the “Pistol License Renewal” link below. If you have any questions or problems, please contact the Nassau County Police Department Pistol License Section at:

(516) 573-7559.
