Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public’s help in finding the vehicle and the driver who left the scene of a fatal accident that occurred in Woodmere, New York.

On Saturday, April 2, 2005 between the hours of 4:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. Jose Hernandez was struck and killed by an unknown vehicle. He was crossing Peninsula Blvd. at Woodmere Blvd. at the time of the incident. The operator of the vehicle drove away from the scene and did not identify himself.

The vehicle is a 1993-1994, unknown color, full size Dodge B150 van.

All calls are confidential and you do not have to testify in court. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000.00 to the person that gives information that results in the arrest of the person responsible for this crime.
