Leaving The Scene

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police are seeking the public's help in connection with a leaving the scene which occurred in Locust Valley, New York.

On Saturday, August 18, 2001 at about 1:30 A.M. in the area of Burkram Road and Baldwin Ave. in Locust Valley, Scott Lewis was found in the roadway with serious physical injuries. He was lying near his vehicle and appeared to have been stuck by another vehicle that left the scene. Scott Lewis, who lived in Bayville died as a result of his injuries

The family of the victim is offering an additional $10,000. reward to anyone who provides information to Crime Stoppers that leads to the arrest and conviction of the persons(s) invoved in this incident.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2000 for information leading to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this crime. All calls are anonymous and callers do not have to reveal their identity or testify in court.
