The Information Technology Unit is responsible for
developing systems and programs relative to maintaining
statistical records, developing and distributing analytical
crime reports as directed, coordinating the activities
of the Police Department in developing and maintaining
the computer system network, and is responsible for coordinating
the planning, design, integration and implementation
of the various technological programs and systems in
use within the Department, and those contemplated for
future implementation and coordinating with other appropriate
agencies as necessary.
